Francois Mathian

Francois Mathiam is a contemporary composer and violinist, creating  music to shine the light on organic instruments, in particular piano and strings, by supporting them with modern sounds and arrangements. From classical violin & piano pieces to meditation music and more upbeat electronic genres (chill lofi beats and deep house violin tracks released under the moniker Fransoafran), his common musical signature is a rich sound supported by melodies designed to create an emotional experience and help us reconnect to our deeper self. Inspired to learn piano and violin at an early age by his mother who was a violinist and a science professor, Francois grew a taste for performing, creating and improvising music. Being trained as both a musician and a scientist gives him a balance of emotional and analytical perspectives, which he uses in his composition process. After classical training, Francois toured and recorded for several years in France, then moved to Australia to release his own music and compose music for soundtracks and commercials.
