Nikolas Belalis

Nikolas Belalis is a classically trained pianist and composer from Athens, Greece. He has been a teacher in music schools for over 20 years and has participated in concerts with several rock bands. Although he has been composing his own music since he was a student himself, it wasn't until 2019 that he decided to release his first album, 'Moments of a Never Ending Trip,' which, like his second one, 'Delusive Horizons,' are influenced mainly by composers from the romantic era and are composed primarily on classical forms. But as years pass, music from gothic/darkwave bands tends to be also an influence and inspiration for him and the combination of classical and darkwave elements is more evident in his music. His themes are getting plainer, the forms he uses are simpler and melancholy dominates his music.
