April Chung

April Chung is a classical-trained pianist, composer and educator. Born in Taipei city of Taiwan, April Chung developed her music path in Boston, Los Angeles, Sacramento and Bordeaux, France. As a composer, her compositions are often written in classical forms brushed with contemporary colours. Influenced by various musicians, such as J.S. Bach and Fazil Say, April Chung covers a wide range of different styles in her music. She also performs as a soloist and chamber musician. Ms. Chung holds a Masters of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
